Tinfoilchefdotcom shows us how to make green bean casserole, the easy way. You will need, 5 cans of green beans, one and half can of cream mushroom soup, quarter cup of milk and one and half can of French onions. Heat the oven to 350 and keep it ready. Take a clean dish and put green beans to it. This might look a bit too much, but it cooks down. Next, take cream mushroom soup in a dish and add quarter cup of milk to it. Mix it well till it loosens. Add this soup to the green beans and mix it well. Put one can of French onions into this mixture and mix it. Pour this mixture into a casserole, close it with a lid and then heat it inside the oven at 350 for 40-50 minutes. To check whether it is cooked enough or no, you can either check the bubble formation on the sides or look at the vapor rising from the sides. After 50 minutes take out the casserole, open it and you can still see a lot of bubbling. Next add one can of French onions as a top layer on the casserole. Heat this again in the oven for about 5 minutes till the onions turn brown. There is no need of the lid while heating this time. Now remove it from the oven, it will still be bubbling and would keep cooking on its own for some time. Done that? Well there is nothing else, your green bean casserole is made. Though it is usually assumed to be a holiday dish, it can made any time of the year and enjoy it!!!
